This Privacy Policy describes how the OpenRent Sorter Chrome Extension handles and protects your information.

1. Information Collection and Usage

We believe in user privacy and only collect data required to improve your experience. The extension tracks the following anonymous events using Amplitude Analytics:

• Installation Status: A basic timestamp when the extension is installed, updated, or uninstalled to monitor active usage counts.
• Feature Interactions: When you open the extension popup, change the default sorting options, toggle the sorting feature, click the "Scroll to Top" button, or click Google Maps/Street View shortcut links.

We do not collect or store personal information (such as your name, email address, passwords, or listing search history). All listing manipulation is performed entirely in real-time within your local browser sandbox.

2. Data Security & Third-Party Sharing

Your trust is important to us. We adhere strictly to the following disclosures:

• We do not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties.
• We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality (sorting search results and displaying map shortcuts).
• We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

3. Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save your configuration preferences (such as your active toggles and default sorting selection). This configuration is saved locally on your device and is not synchronized to external servers.
